Operations and Capabilities

Parts with complicated geometry can enter into the manufacturing and assembly process in different ways.

Depending on the fragility, geometry or surface condition, parts can be presented as bulk items, on a belted conveyor, in palletized trays or in magazines. In many applications it is important to position the parts accurately, for further pick-and-place operations. Also, sorting processes like a vibration bowl feeding can be added to the process.

In some cases, when the part geometry allows for it, parts can be presented in a random position to the handling system or robot. In this case the parts run on a flat-belt conveyor under a camera which determines the actual position and transmits it to the handling system or robot. After recalculation of the coordinates the part can be picked and placed in a pallet, carrier or on a support.

Bartec has the experience and knowledge to assist you in the automation and integrations of any type of operation, some of our projects often include a combination of the following operations:
  • Screwing
  • Pressing
  • Labeling
  • Laser marking
  • Drilling
  • Crimping
  • Heat staking
  • Laser welding
  • Plasma
  • Ovens (Curing, preheating)
  • Automated Dispensing equipment
  • Vacuum dispensing automated lines
There are no limits to the many possible production scenarios that can be combined using these basic functional automated operations.

Test Systems to Comply with Quality Demands

Quality standards and complexity of designs call for higher standards in test stations and more test stations to avoid adding value to a scrap part.

Extensive test procedures, like
  • Electronic functional test
  • Leakage test
  • Camera inspection systems for presence, shape, position and dimension control of electronic or mechanical components can be implemented in nearly all equipment.
